Swachhata-MoHUA: The Official App for Civic Complaints
Swachhata-MoHUA is a free Android app developed by Janaagraha, in association with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India. The app aims to empower citizens to report civic-related issues such as garbage dumps, unclean public toilets, dead animals, and more. Once a complaint is lodged, it is forwarded to the concerned city corporation and subsequently assigned to the respective sanitary inspector of the particular ward. The app captures the location of the complaint while taking a picture, and the user can also vote on other relevant complaints. Swachhata-MoHUA also allows users to edit or delete their complaints and upload images from their phone's gallery. The app comes with a new feature that allows engineers to log in.
